1. Product Description and Specifications

  • The product is a custom-made wooden carved guilded eagle (application of gold leaf).
  • The design, dimensions, and additional details (e.g., type of wood, level of gilding, or paint finish) will be discussed and confirmed before production. AANPASSEN
  • As a handcrafted product, slight variations in texture, color, and finish may occur and are considered part of the unique nature of the item.

2. Customization

  • Design Approval: Customers must provide their specific ‘banner text’ and approve a final draft before production.
  • Changes to Design: After final design approval, changes to the design are not allowed without additional charges and potential delays in delivery.

3. Production Time

  • The production timeline will be communicated after the final design approval.
  • Typically, production will take between eight and twelve weeks, depending on the complexity of the design.
  • Delays caused by customer-requested changes or natural factors (e.g., supply chain issues, weather, etc.) will not be the responsibility of the seller.

4. Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 50% is required upon order confirmation and final design approval.
  • The remaining 50% must be paid prior to shipment

  • Prices are inclusive and taxes and shipping fees within the US (excl.Hawai and Alaska) as applicable.
  • For shipments outside the US extra shipping fees, taxes and extra variable costs will apply, to be paid by the customer.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Custom orders cannot be canceled once the deposit is paid and production has begun.
  • In the event of a cancellation before production starts, the 50% of the deposit will be returned to the customer.

7. Returns and Refunds

  • Customized Items: No returns or refunds will be provided for custom-made products unless there is a defect in craftsmanship.
  • Defective Products: If the item arrives with a defect related to shipping, the customer must notify the seller within 7 days of receiving the item.
  • Non-Defect Claims: Claims related to design issues that were approved by the customer will not be eligible for returns or refunds.
  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, exposure to extreme conditions (e.g., moisture, direct sunlight), or improper maintenance.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All design elements provided by the seller are protected by copyright and cannot be reproduced without express permission.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to mediation before taking legal action.

11. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate and detailed information about their customization preferences. Only after acceptance of the customization preferences by the seller and payment of the 50% deposit the production process will start.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that the chosen design does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.

12. Force Majeure

  • The seller will not be liable for delays or failures in fulfilling orders due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, or supplier issues.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • The seller’s liability is limited to the value of the order. The seller is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product.
